Making a Difference: Tennessee Partnership for Ongoing Parental Support (TPOPS)
TPOPS, based in UT’s College of Social Work, contributes to the welfare of the children of incarcerated parents who are better-empowered to support them. TPOPS provides assistance to noncustodial fathers who are incarcerated or recently released, as well as informational sessions for correctional staff. TPOPS is funded through a contract administered by the Tennessee Department of Human Services and the University of Tennessee.
