The Conference Planning Committee for the 16th Annual Meeting of the Engagement Scholarship Consortium needs your help. The committee expects approximately 300 proposals for posters, papers, paper symposia, and workshops, and it needs three reviewers to review each of those proposals.
As a member institution of the international Engagement Scholarship Consortium, UT Knoxville has been called upon to provide 6-8 faculty and professional staff reviewers for proposals for ESC’s 2015 international conference.
Prospective UT reviewers who are interested in this opportunity should submit their names, email addresses, and disciplinary/program affiliation no later than Monday, March 16, 2015, to the Office of Community Engagement and Outreach: firstname.lastname@example.org
Review assignments, instructions, and rubrics will be distributed to reviewers by March 27 and reviews will be due April 17.
There’s still time to submit conference proposals.
The 2015 Engagement Scholarship Consortium will be held at Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA in September. The University of Tennessee, Knoxville is an ESC partner and encourages university faculty and partners to contribute to the dialogue of “Engaged Scholarship: Advancing Rigor, Elevating Impact.” Conference Registration opens in May. This annual conference works to advance engaged scholarship as an intrinsic, transformational component of the student, faculty and staff experience. Proposal submission deadline for ESC is March 20, 2015.
