Imagine Tennessee

Collaborate with OCEO and local partners to build your own community-engaged research project. Imagine Tennessee works in five impact areas: sustainability, education, family, health and wellness, business and entrepreneurship, and community and economic development.

Clay and Debbie Jones Center for Leadership and Service

The Clay and Debbie Jones Center for Leadership and Service offers a variety of student programs, services and classes, a variety of service opportunities held throughout the year, monthly and weekly trips, and Alternative Fall and Spring Break trips that impact hunger, homelessness, literacy, the environment, global issues, women’s issues, healthcare, and more.

UT Service-Learning

Service-learning is a course-based approach that engages students in meaningful and relevant service with a community partner while employing ongoing reflection to make connections between the service and course content.

Experience Learning Initiative

Experience Learning is a bold new initiative with the goal of transforming the educational experience for undergraduate and graduate students with more opportunities to be involved in civic engagement and other kinds of experiential learning.

Office of Undergraduate Research

Pursuing career opportunities, pursuing scholarly knowledge, and pursuing answers to interesting questions—that’s what undergraduates do when they engage in research and creative achievement, including work that may expand to include community-based research.
