The Hindawi Publishing Corporation for Education Research International is accepting papers for School-Community Partnerships. Papers should address education reform efforts from around the world, concentrating on disadvantaged neighborhoods. The scholarship on these partnerships, and their relation to families, is conceptually complex, embodying widely different assumptions about the nature of disadvantage, the role of schools in overcoming disadvantage, how power should be distributed and the meaning and value of school-community partnerships themselves.
