Hispanic Heritage Art Exhibit

Hispanic Heritage Art Exhibit

Hispanic Heritage Art Exhibit showcases cultural diversity for Hispanic Heritage Month 2014.

The University of Tennessee celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month 2014 by inviting a group of Latino artists, some of them residents of Tennessee, for an art exhibit to be held during the month of September at the Black Cultural Center, featuring artists from Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity is sponsoring this event as part of its engagement with the Latino community. The exhibit is Sept. 11, 2014, from 5-8 p.m. The showcases aim to engage observers in the community with the rich Hispanic heritage within the Knoxville community.
